How much information can a person consume?

Specializing in a specific niche requires a high level of expertise. Gaining a high level of knowledge and know-how demands understanding everything and everyone in your field of study.

I am positioning myself to develop web products for a particular niche. The challenge is learning, honing and executing my skills effectively.

Hence, consuming large quantities of information. At times I feel overwhelmed and at other times is seems impossible.

Reading for understanding takes time. I scrutinize a text till i get it, I ask questions and take notes.

So I am learning code, learning design and learning a niche field. This is going to take time. And figuring out how to function at different levels of expertise has me thinking for hours.
