Concentration and focus are crucial parts of working well.

Since I've started paying more attention to how I am focusing, it's astonishing how much time I waste thinking about shit that doesn't matter.

And ironically, how thinking about the shit that doesn't matter impacts the end result of my work.

It takes longer and isn't as concise as focused work that I concentrated on without distraction.

This new practice isn't easy, but I understand just how necessary it is for efficient, effective productivity.
