A Simple Conclusion

The pursuit of happiness and the pursuit of life both start with the pursuit of self.

What Does This Mean for Programmers

It means that getting a firm understanding of your values, personal goals, and career goals will help you be a better programmer.

Once you lay some kind of foundation for yourself, the inclination to compare yourself to others diminishes exponentially.

And when you're focused on your dreams, the success others appear to have won't be as enticing.

It's easy to be deceived into thinking others have it better than you. But if you give up on your dream or crash and burn because you feel you already lost, the real loss is losing sight of yourself.

So the moral of the story is not to compare yourself to others and don't be fooled by the success others may appear to have, don't abandon yourself based on fantastical fantasies.

Everything looks good if you're hungry, but if you're hungry for living the life that's yours, you'll be truly fulfilled.

With these words, I bid you...

Good night
