I started my coding journey with a 5-and-a-half-year-old Chromebook. I paid $119 dollars for it at Walmart, I didn't even know what a Chromebook was, but the price was right for my pocketbook.
I had to be resourceful at times because my Chromebook didn't support some features, like Visual Studio and I didn't have a mouse, so navigation was a mess.
My New Computer!
Needless to say, I am beyond elated that I got a new computer. I got it from PC's for People, a company that sells refurbished computers at discount rates.
I qualified through the ACP program. That was awesome, because not only was I coding with an old Chromebook, I was using my mobile hotspot.
This program has meant so much to me. It has made reaching my dreams attainable. I'll be forever grateful.
So if your funds are low, it is possible to get internet and a low-cost computer.
Now That My Setup is Coming Together
I have a few more things to do to piece together my first official programmer setup.
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's functional and getting me closer to my dreams and goals.
pictures are soon to come...
With these words, I bid you...
Good night
