My Progress Has Been a Process

My Progress Has Been a Process

My Coding Progress

If you are following my journey, you know, I am doing freeCodeCamp.org, to learn how to code. I am on my second challenge. I thought I had the 2nd certification challenge figured out. I started the project and got all the answers wrong!

The finished example looked so simple...What the fuck am I doing wrong.

This has got me scratching my head. I started coding later than I wanted. So I have to get an earlier start tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be more successful. It feels so good getting a challenge right after failing, it's such a sexy moment.

I Got Some Reading Done

I am reading MetaHuman by Deepak Chopra. The first 5 chapters have been really interesting.

He is laying the groundwork to prove his argument. Dr. Chopra believes our lives are capable of being lived beyond "virtual reality." Virtual reality is how we understand everyday life. But this construct of reality is learned and limits our potential.

I prefer reading a book daily. It helps me retain the information and get a better understanding of what the author is saying. I haven't been as diligent with this read, because of the other projects I am doing. It sucks because I want to do so much, but time seems so short.

The Process of Learning

More and more I respect the process of learning. It isn't just about learning a new subject. It is about learning to break the limits of my thinking.

Each new concept is a key to breaking walls that once seemed impossible. I don't know where this journey is taking me, but I am loving the ride.

With these words, I bid you...

Good night
